Camping “Mas de Messier” is situated on the southern edge of “Causse du Larzac” a plateau situated 26 miles from Millau, 50 miles north of Montpellier and the Mediterranean. It’s a 5 minute drive from the A75. It is the boundary between the shaggy Causses and the Mediterranean area.
The Mas is situated at an altitude of 680 m.
The tunnel de l’Escalette, a few miles away, is the boundary between the Causse (plateau) and “la plaine” (lowland). They are two different worlds, both worth discovering.
Apart from camping there is also a log cabin for rent.
